The Emmelina Waterbucket Intergenerational Project
The Emmelina Waterbucket Intergenerational Project
An Intergenerational Project working toward Dementia Friendly communities, promoting the joys of creativity and friendship between the ages.
A poem " Where is it?" that was composed by residents soon turned into a chant like mantra and is featured below. The creative process taps into something " other" empowering people living with dementia the time and space to articulate their experience in their own way
Where is it?
"It could be down here.....it’s not over here
It’s not over there, so where?
It’s in the jungle, it’s here
It’s not above.It’s lost
It could be gone forever. It could be gone forever..."
