An Intergenerational Project working toward Dementia Friendly communities, promoting the joys of creativity and friendship between the ages.

A poem " Where is it?" that was  composed by residents soon turned into a chant like mantra and  is featured below. The creative process taps into something " other" empowering people living with dementia the time and space to articulate their experience in their own way

Where is it?

"It could be down here.....it’s not over here

It’s not over there, so where?

It’s in the jungle, it’s here

It’s not above.It’s lost

It could be gone forever. It could be gone forever..."
